The session fee does not include kimono rental, styling, or any digital files and artwork.

After your session, you’ll have the opportunity to view your proofing gallery and choose the collection that best fits your family. Collections are purchased separately.

The Process

  • 01. Get in Touch

    Tell me a little about your family and the kind of session you’re dreaming of. I’ll guide you through the next steps and check availability for your preferred date.

  • 02. Secure Your Date

    To reserve your session, I’ll send over your contract, session fee invoice, and a welcome guide to help you get started. Once everything is completed, your session is officially reserved.

  • 03. Kimono Fitting

    You’ll visit Kimono Art in Kirkland for your fitting, where you’ll select your kimono for the session. A professional will guide you through the styling to ensure everything feels just right.

  • 04. Session Day

    Come as you are. We’ll begin with hair and makeup, followed by kimono dressing, and then your photoshoot — all in one place for a seamless and relaxed experience.

  • 05. Select Your Images

    About a week after your session, you’ll receive an online gallery of lightly edited images where you can choose your favorites.

  • 06. Final Delivery

    Once your selections are complete and payment is received, your images will be added to the editing queue and delivered within approximately 2–3 weeks. You’ll also have the option to order professional-quality prints directly from your online gallery.

  • About one week after your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery with all of the best images, lightly edited, so you can select your favorites for your final collection.

    Once your selections are made and your final payment is received, your fully retouched gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks.
